Fridays notes
This trip started off as a horrible tale of a troop being stranded in the parking lot. It was
getting dark so the lead scouts (older boy patrol) of the troop had gone to the park ranger asking
if we could go to the campsite. So luckily he said you can go up to the campsite, and as a lazy
troop without proper supervision would do, we used a car to bring the gear up. We were caught
red handed when there was a gate that needed to be opened to proceed, so as an almost
unison democratize vote (a dumb idea) we called the park ranger and they sent a man that we
know as tight for his famous saying that I can not say. He had helped us at the cost of us getting
in trouble with the leaders.

Saturdays notes
This day was a lot better than the prior. There were a few mess ups and faults amongst
Scouts and Scouts leaders, but for the parts I will talk about are the good events. For example,
we had woken up early and went to the Alpines parade field while watching other troops play
gaga ball (something our troop had never seen), and waited for the opening to be over and be
told of the events. When we proceeded to the events we learned at first how to make desserts
such as: pretzels, fried pancake cookies, and even upside down pineapple cake. Then we
proceeded to learn how to cook healthier options such as: egg omelets, chicken, and potatoes.
This part of the day had very little pictures, a small screw up by the cameraman, myself.
After these events we proceeded to a challenge that awaited us. After helping set it up we had
assembled 5 men to do the job of making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and stack them
with one hand. Although we had a high stack we had not won for there was no clear winner. I
would say it was the day's climax.
We are sorry about the lack of photos again. We really should fire our new camera man.
Actually we shouldn’t since I’m the cameraman writing this.
As the day ended we proceeded to the dining hall for dinner in which every troop brought
something to eat. After we ate we ate the upside down pineapple cake I mentioned earlier. Then
we had to carve a Cantaloupe in the shape of mr.D's face for a competition ( we somehow didn’t
win ). We had also put on the skit called the disappearing act in which we had to stand in front of
the dining hall and say everyone close your eyes and then our troop would be gone and poof we
magically were back in our seats.
Don’t worry we finally got the pictures, so thank the camera man.
Sunday morning
This was the most uneventful day since we quickly packed up, ate, and left.
